The City

From Battery Park and the Brooklyn Bridge on the southern edge of the island, to Riverside Park and the Henry Hudson Bridge at the northern end. It's only 13.5 miles long and [at most] 2.8 miles wide, but New Yorkers have crammed an awful lot in to the place that's worth visiting. If you've got better photos, you can add to them too! The Neighbourhoods

Neighbourhoods is what we'll see here. These photographs will take you from Bay Ridge or Rockaway Beach in the south to Van Cortlandt Park or City Island in the north - all still on the subway network too [except for City Island of course].

The Region

These images can take you upstate New York. It also includes Pennsylvania, Connecticut and New Jersey, and places inbetween - all easily reachable, by train or car. From Springsteen's Asbury Park to the old Mob hangouts in the Catskill and Adirondacks mountains.

The Homeland

If you're a long-time resident of the tri-state area, then you might appreciate the odd picture of your home town, region or neighbourhood back in the good old UK. Apologies to Welsh and Northern Irish visitors - so far.
